The Farewell...

Acrylic/ mixed media painting I did last year of the Doctor and Rose's heart-wrenching goodbye at Bad Wolf Bay/ Somewhere in the other universe. The central image of the parallel world is seen through the last small crack in the universe. Around it is our world... a dying sun coughing out its last rays in order for the last words to be said... the clock broken clock can symbolize many different thing: perhaps both of them willing time to just stop for a little while longer, or emphasizing the whole "cracks in the universe" thing, of the hearts of a Time Lord breaking (and rose's but the clock to me says Time Lord), or whatever else you want it to mean. Possibilities are endless!
